I am looking for correct spelling of a place in Mexico called Sudat
Viez San Wee Protospee (and that is phonetically the way it sounded
when I heard it.) Does anyone know of such a place in Mexico and can
you post me a link when you send my answer where I can go and see this
place online b/c I could not find any such place on the internet. Thank you in
advance.

"Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosí" is pronounced in a way that is
similar to the phonetic pronunciation you have given.

Please let me know if this is the place you're looking for:

You know what pinkfreud, I really have no idea if this is the place or
not but it sounds good and looks good to me so I'm going to go with
it. This was a witness under oath testifying where her place of birth
is, and no wonder I couldn't find it. I thought Ciudad was spelled
with an S. LOL. Thank you for the link and thank you for your
lightning fast reply! Much appreciated!

Thank you for accepting my suggestion as your answer. "Ciudad Valles,
San Luis Potosí" is pronounced very much like your phonetic
approximation. I am quite certain that this is the correct place name.

To find this information, I constructed a Google search string using a
"wild card" (the asterisk) to represent the one word that I could not
guess. I was pretty sure that we were looking for "Ciudad [something],
San Luis Potosí, so I used this search string to narrow down the
field:

"ciudad * san luis potosi"

Once I saw "Ciudad Valles," I knew that this had to be the right
place. Valles is often pronounced like vy-ez, which fits with your
guesstimate very nicely.

Since I wanted sites that were in English, I used the spelling
'potosi' rather than 'potosí' with the accent over the letter 'i'.

I hope this is helpful!

Best regards,
pinkfreud

Look at it this way:

Sudat Viez San Wee Protospee (phonetic)
Ciudad Valles San Luis Potosí (correct spelling)

Sure looks right to me.
