Given that some of your answers have a UK flavor to them, I'm guessing the answer is the Dunblane Massacre. You asked for examples - here are some: 1962 JGO the E - John Glen orbits the earth 1969 C makes MF - Concorde makes maiden flight 1982 FW - Falklands war 1987 H of FED - Herald of Free Enterpise Disaster 1991 GW - Gulf War 1995 OB - Oklahoma Bombing 1998 DBSO against A - David Beckham sent off against Argentina 1999 MM becomes EM in NI - Martin McGuiness becomes Education Minister in Northern Ireland etc., etc ... There are 26 such questions and I can answer them all except for the one I posed which was: 1996 DM - ?? |
