I'm editing a transcript and need the spelling of the word "shilagatus" (phonetic) used in the following text: "Basically, what happens is you put a known antigen such as Aspergillus 'shilagatus' on one side"... |

You might try searching this page http://www.aspergillus.man.ac.uk/indexhome.htm?secure/speciesdatabase/./index.php~main There are several links to almost all the Aspergillus species. I reviewed them all and think none of them fit. Surely the word you are seeking is the species name of an Aspergillus, as you are discussing antigen antiboy reactions. Regards, crabcakes |

Hi, Crabcakes: You were correct... the right word was "fumigatus." The questioner apologized for "slurring" the terms together and indicated it was "fumigatus" he was trying to say. Thanks again for your help! Dianer |
