Greetings! Depending on when you put your newer site in place, it may
be that all the search engine spiders have not yet located and
catalogued your newer site, and the places where you have manually
entered the newer site name have not yet updated their indexes. It
can take from three to six months sometimes for new sites to appear in
the search engines' listings even though some places state they will
show sooner.
Also, the title and metatags for both sites are different and the
phrase "empire promos" does not appear in your keywords or description
as a key phrase. I think it would behoove you to add all variations
of your company name in the metatags as well as tweaking your keywords
and description to better reflect what you want you customers to find.
(I've shown you side-by-side examples of your metatags down below.)
If I were looking for promotional products or corporate gifts, I would
not automatically search "empire promotional produscts" only because I
wouldn't know your corporate name before I searched. I would search
"corporate gifts" or "promotional products." Therefore, in your
keywords and metatags, you may want to examine your keyword placement
- it does make a difference. Another key to good search engine
placement is to have your keywords at the top of the page as opposed
to the bottom. Your list is on the bottom and, because it is so
lengthy, it would not fit on the top as it is, so I would suggest you
take the best keywords from that grouping and get them to the top of
the page. An example would be:
Corporate Gifts | Trade Show Giveaways | Personalized Gifts (etc)
Just a short string of the major keywords. Also, if your company name
is entered on your site as a graphic image instead of regular text,
search engines will not "read" it - they only read text, not graphics.
So make sure your keywords and key phrases are in text form when
placed on the visible pages because that gives you additional exposure
to the search engine spiders.
I also noted that your keywords for your new site are more expanded
than the older one and that is to your advantage but you may want to
juggle your placement of the newer keywords. For instance, examine
your Internet sales catagories and list your keywords in that order.
What category makes the greatest percentage of your sales through the
web? If you sell more trade show giveaways than anything else, put
"trade show giveaways" as your first keyword, followed by the
importance of the others. By beginning your keywords with your
company name, you are using valuable space at the front of the keyword
string that might be better used for your product. It is also a good
idea not to use a keyword in the metatag more than three times - some
search engines frown on repeated references. In your newer keywords,
the word "promotional" is used seven times.

I have been told by a friend that when Google reindexs, the results
will appear on http://www2.google.com before they appear on the main
Google site and you might want to continue checking there for your
listing. Also, make sure your new site has been manually entered into
as many search engines as possible. I hope my answer is of assistance.
