Hi,

I work for a UK domain name registration service.
We are looking at improving our current automation.

Currently when a customer buys a domain, the process is fully
automated, registration takes place and DNS servers are populated with
the new domain name.

If a new service is added such as hosting, the customer gets automatic
e-mails with user id's etc, but the account is manually added created
on a webserver etc. [We use a third party for hosting currently]

I am looking for a product such as cPanel but one which allows for integration.

Ie automatic account generation, and installation of scripts such as
MS Frontpage etc.

The idea being to create an almost totally automated process. It
doesn't need to cover every task, just the regular ones, creating new
hosting accounts, granting FTP access, POP3 mail accounts etc.

Looking at cpanel it seems idea for reselling, but I am not sure it is
quite suited for the automatic process we are looking at. Presumably
other services used fairly standard software to do what we are looking
at etc.

Thanks

Mark

Cpanel has an API system which can be used for your requirement.
Infact i have made quite an extensive api which system which just does
this and much more than what cpanel allows.

You can have a look at http://whmapi.cpanelappz.com.

We have a free trial available for download and use. If you wish to
integrate the api inside your own application we can even help in
that.
