I saw the Stones play in New Orleans in the mid 1960s.  They
played in an outdoor amphitheatre. I don't remember the exact year. 
Can you help?  Was this during their first US tour?

There are no concert dates for New Orleans; however there was a show
on November Nov 20, 1965 at the State Fair Youth Centre in Shreveport,
Louisiana.


There was a Rolling Stones Concert on July 13, 1978 at the Super Dome
in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Well Bobbie, you're right.  Seems it was the Beatles I saw at City
Park Stadium in New Orleans, September 1964.   Just wish it had been
The Stones.

Yeh, the Beatles weren't bad, but I hadn't thought about that concert
for over forty years.   I was bragging to friends that I had seen the
Stones on their first US tour and that it was in New Orleans at an
outdoor theatre.  They said prove it.  I lost the bet, but I got a few
"You were there?" looks for the Beatles concert.
