I am looking for a standalone robot that can load and unload cd roms
from a cd rom tray. Many CD duplicator devices have these robotic cd
loaders and unloaders, but I have yet to see a standalone version
which works for an arbitrary cdrom drive. Basically, whenever the cd
tray is opened, the device senses this, picks up a cd from the input
spindle, places it in the cd tray and closes the cd rom. When the cd
tray opens again, the cd in the drive is picked up, moved to the
output spindle, and then a new cd is loaded (process continues until
all cds have been cycled through).

Some pictures of similar devices can be seen at the following links:
http://www.discmakers.com/duplicators/products/elite_micro.asp
http://www.primera.com/products_duplicators.html
http://www.kintronics.com/microboards/MicroOrbit2.htm

The device should only cost a few hundred dollars at most. What I
would like to know is what such a standalone robotic device is called,
where they can be purchased, and the price at which they can be
purchased. The device should be able to handle at least 50 or so
input discs and work with an arbitrary cd rom device.

This looks exactly like what I'm looking for, but I don't think this
product is yet available for sale. Anything else like this?
