i have w/v 370 g/L Hydrochloric Acid from a pool supplies store.

the instructions im reading say: "To a stirred solution of xxx in
minimum acetone is added aqueous HCl (1:1) dropwise (excess)."

how do i get "1:1 aq HCL" from the hydrochloric acid that i have...?

1:1 means that for one part of HCL add one part of water to mix with.

Sorry, 1:1 parts means for one part of acetone you want to add one part of HCL
