Unfortunately the repair manuals for these vehicles (like the vehicles
themselves) are not cheap.  The workshop repair manual for the
1999-2002 Land Rover Discovery 2 by Rover is available from Amazon.com

That's still probably cheaper than paying the dealer to fix it for you though.
