What is the name of the song and the artist singing it, as I'd like a
copy.  It has the lyrics:  "Haloo, Salut" in the beginning.  Thank

The band name is o-zone which may or may not be short for Disco-Zone
The song title is "Dragostea Din Tei"
The kids in the video are probaly not dutch and almost certainly are American.

The bands name IS O-Zone yes, and the song title is also Called
"Dragostea Din Tei", But that's it :)

The band is from Romania, and the song is in their native language.

choreographing an aerobics step routine to it 'cause it's so upbeat,

I too have been caught up in the beat and I'm totally hooked on this
song.  I searched for quite a while, then came across this site and
found all the answers.  Thank you will and others who answered!!!

In case you all missed it, the Romanian band Ozone was on NBC's Today
Show February 22, 2005.  They got there based on the song lip-synced
by New Jersey teenager Gary Brolsma of Saddle Brook, N.J., aka:  "the
Fat Dutch Kid".

Now Gary is famous and sales for the band have skyrocketed.  Definite
talent on both sides.
