I created a Microsoft Access 2000 file that contains hyperlink fields for e-mail addresses and URLs. Each e-mail hyperlink has both "Text to display" and "E-mail address" components. Each URL hyperlink has "Text to display" and "Address" components. I then created a Microsoft Word XP mail merge document and inserted both the e-mail addresses and URLs as mergefields. E-mail addresses appear with the form "johnclint at integrityusa.org#mailto:johnclint@integrityusa.org#" and are not clickable. URLs appear with the form "www.integrityusa.org#http://www.integrityusa.org#" and are not clickable. How can I change the mailmerged hyperlinks to that they only show the "text to display" and are clickable? I've looked for a Word switch that would change the appearance and function of the hyperlinks--without success. |
