if you mean the tallest person.........

Robert Wadlow is recorded as being the tallest person in the world, 8
feet 11 inches, but there is one person recorded in the Bible being 6
cubits and a span which is about 10½ feet tall. His name is Goliath of
Gath, a Philistine. You can read about him in 1 Samuel chapter 17.
Robert Pershing Wadlow was born, educated and buried in Alton,
Illinois. His height of 8' 11" qualifies him as the tallest person in
modern history, as recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. At the
time of his death he weighed 490 pounds. By the time he was 8 years
old his height had reached 6 feet. Visit the web site below for some
good photos of Robert Wadlow and more information about where he lived
and his family.

If we are talking about height, no animal can beat giraffes! With an
astonishingly long neck, a giraffe can be more than 18 feet tall,
making it the world's tallest animal. It is also one of the world's
heaviest animals - a male giraffe may weigh up to 4,200 pounds!

2 Undoubtedly, giraffes take full advantage of their height. When
they are hungry, they don't have to lower their necks to eat grass or
stand on their toes to reach for leaves. All they need to do is to
stand near a tree and have an all-you-can-eat buffet of leaves and
twigs from the tops of trees. Since giraffes are so tall, they don't
have to compete with other plant-eating animals (such as zebras and
antelopes) that also live in African savannahs. Their remarkable
height also helps to keep them out of danger, as they can spot hungry
lions or hyenas from far away.
