I am looking for the name of a hair metal song and the band that
played it. If I had to guess, I would say the song came out in 1987. I
want to say the title is something like "Love Lies," or "Love Dies."
The lyrics of the chorus are something very close to: "Love Lies, Love
Burns, Love Drives You to the Point of No Return." There was an MTV
video for this song which was released as a single. Other lyrics in
the song include phrases like..."as she drives through the town, where
she once played around, the memories..all around her...with the wind
in her hair, she says a little prayer, oh mother don't you cry, oh
father don't ask why..." If you can get me the name of the band and
the song (and the album it's on) I'll pay up. If you know of a CD
compilation that contains the song that's a bonus but I'll pay up as
long as you can convince me you know the song and the band and the
album. thx.
