I believe the State of California and the U.S. Government have an
"Arts Week", for the performing arts. I don't know its official title
of when it is. Can you help me out?

Hello bitsandpieces-ga,

In 2004 the US celebrated National Arts and Humanities Month in
October, and California celebrated California Arts Day on October 1st.
Is this the information that you are looking for?

Hi

You know how the Congress and sometimes state governments declare
items; i.e. this is the week of disabled persons, or this is the day
to celebrate broccili, etc. You often hear about these things on
local or national news.

I know that there is a week for the Arts but only by word of mouth. I
don't know if it is a state and federally sactioned week. I think it
is in March or April.

Thanks

Maribeth

I found the above link, I still think there is an Arts Week in California.
