I came across a quote or phrase or statement of some sort, and need to
know the language it is written in and what it means. An as accurate
as possible translation would be greatly appreciated. I would do this
myself, but I do not know the language of it. The quote is below. Note
it contains some odd characters. Oh, and please translate into
English, not another language.

Drømme den umulige drømen. Bekjempe den unbeatable fiende. Leve med
Deres hjerte streve som oppover. Til en fjern uoppnåelig himmel.

Dear factbook,

Here is the translation:

"Dream the impossible dream. Fight the unbeatable foe. Live with your
heart striving upwards. To the far unreachable sky."

The language of the quote is Norwegian - with the exception of
"unbeatable". That is, of course, English. I can't imagine how it
slipped into the Norwegian phrases, but it is certainly misplaced
there.

The Norwegian quote is clearly inspired by the lyrics of "The
Impossible Dream", from the musical "The Man of La Mancha", which you
can read here at Reel Classics:

Great answer, even provided additional information about the source of the quote.

Hi, Scriptor. I was going to put my money on that quotation from "The
Impossible Dream" even without knowing the language! It just jumps
out from the first line. My guess is that "unbeatable" is in there
because that's what happens when you use an automatic translation
program (such as for websites) and the application encounters a word
it can't handle.

The text is indeed in Norwegian, but it is riddled with ortographical
and grammatical blunders - as archae0pteryx-ga has stated, it has
probably been translated with some automagic translation program. A
proper Norwegian translation would be:

"Drøm den umulige drømmen. Bekjemp den uslåelige fiende. Lev med
ditt hjerte strebende oppover. Til en fjern, uoppnåelig himmel."
