I am looking for particular manufacturer(s)/supplier(s)/distributor(s)
of a sophisticated line of wedding favors. I have found what I beleive
to be a line of wedding favors being sold by a few online wedding
favor companies, many of which are based in California. The same favor
items appear on a few websites that I've found. Many of the favors are
similar in style and look as if they are products within a certain
line. I believe that these wedding favor websites are using more than
one provider obviously for all of the products that they offer.
Therefore, I am interested to know about as many wholesale provider(s)
or manufacturer(s), etc these online favor companies may be using.

Many of the SAME items appear on each of these websites (particularly
WeddingFavorites and Bella Terra). In other words, these companies
have very similar inventory. I own a start-up wedding invitation and
wedding favors business on the east coast. I am interested in carrying
many of the items I've seen on these websites here on the east coast,
but I am having a hard time finding out from whom these companies
purchase these items wholesale. Since these favors are featured on
more than one website, I do not believe that they are custom or
privately manufactured for these companies.

what company/companies manufacture the items that are listed below.
Based on the fact that these companies are all located in California,
I believe that there is a big chance that the wholesale provider,
manufacturer or distributor/supplier, is also located in California.

shows or Gift Marts in California that an east coast business would
not be able to access as easily).

Lastly, if you could provide me with additional information on any
other QUALITY, ELEGANT wholesale wedding favor providers that you may
obtain during your research, I would also like a list of those
providers. I am interested in items ranging from favors to favor
packaging that are in keeping with the examples of products that I
gave links to above. Please do not provide information about companies
who only offer an affiliate or referral program. I am only interested
in buying products wholesale.

If you go under google business diretory, consumer goods, gifts,
wholesale - you may find a few good leads.  Also go to the trade shows
in your area - NY just had their NY International gift show last week,
a few of the major suppliers go there.  Additionally, purchase
magazines such as "In Style" and the bridal magazines to scope for all
the new products on the market - the favor market is contatntly
changing and more often than not, the magazines list the company and
where to buy.

You're right, as a wedding favor retailer as well, the major sites you
have described all carry the same merchandise - many of them don't
even carry the merchandise - they use companies which will dropship to
their customers directly.  Beaucoup says on their website due to their
"numerous distribution centers" products have different lead times and
different ship locations - this is because they don't stock their
merchandise and they want the average consumer to believe they are a
large company.  They don't have numerous distribution centers - they
simply have companies who ship merchandise.  They don't stock a thing!

Wow! Thank you ectdesigns. That information (about Beaucoup's
drop-shipping especially) was very useful. I missed the NY Gift Show,
but I did attend the Atlanta Gift Show in mid-January and I found a
few good sources there. The Craft & Hobby show is in Atlanta this
weekend. That show is a great source for embellishments. My
frustration is that I'm increasingly frustrated with the style of
wedding favors that flood the market. I would like to find sources
that are more contemporary...less frilly. I'm still looking, but your
input was very beneficial. Thanks.

Most favor companies don't make their own favors, with a few
exceptions.   For example my company, momentsofelegance.com, we buy
through wedding suppliers that do not sell directly to the public
(that way you aren't buying from your competition).   Doing basic
google searches for wedding suppliers, wholesalers, distributors, and
drop shippers should give you a good start.  In many of the cases you
mentioned, the products are created locally so there may not be a
source for you to buy them.  It may also be worthwhile to contact
those companies as many will offer their own products at wholesale
prices.

I am a new wedding company just starting out in the UK and interested
in becoming a supplier of silver plated/pewter/chrome wedding favors. 
Having spent hours trawling the internet I have come across the
comments of muffingirl who appears to have faced the same problem as I
am now encountering (hope your business is going well by the way!). 
The favors I am interested in only seem to appear on US sites.   I
would be most grateful if someone could help to put me in contact with

I too am trying to start up a wedding favor supply business in
Australia, and am having the same problem.  I have stumbled across a
