I need a math/puzzle whiz for this one. Does the following series of
numbers follow some sort of mathematical process, series or pattern? Have you
seen a series such as this incorporated in a puzzle before?

6 5 14 4 13 7 8 2 3 15 9 10 1 12 11

This is not actually a mathematical puzzle, although at first it appears to be one.

I am assuming that you found this in the book "A Treasure's Trove."
The book's title is the key to the number sequence.

6 5 14 4 13 7 8 2 3 15 9 10 1 12 11

First you take the letters of the title, in order: ATREASURESTROVE

You find the 6th letter in the title, which is S.

Then you find the 5th letter in the title, which is A.

Then you find the 14th letter in the title, which is V.

Then you find the 4th letter in the title, which is E.

And so on through the numbers, until you have this message, which is
an anagram of the title:

"SAVE OUR TREES ART"

I hope this makes sense! If it's unclear, or if this number sequence
