Could it be Heaven's Gate?

If so, please let me know and I will be glad to find a map, a picture
and other information for you.

Hello Bgs6-ga

Like the other researchers here I have had no success in finding a
"heaven's bridge" in Wiltshire but there are many articles documenting
"heaven's gate".

Heaven's Gate is located on and about the Longleat Estate owned by
Lord Bath, to discover more about the estate you can visit their
website at http://www.longleat.co.uk

The hillside surrounding the estate is often referred to as "Heaven's
Gate" by the locals but in 2001 Lord Bath erected a monument on the
top of the hill. The Heaven's Gate monument was his answer to Stone
Henge, it comprises nine 15-foot stones and a ring-shaped `gateway'
made of 13 smaller stones.

The press release and further information on the stones can be read here:

http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/1968
http://www.thisiswiltshire.co.uk/wiltshire/archive/2001/06/15/warm_news_local30ZM.html

I have tried to locate some official photographs of the monument but I
have been unsuccessful in my search, I have though managed to locate a
couple of tourist photos of the site which show the stones in some
detail:

http://www.technohippy.org.uk/photos/places/longleat/longleat16.htm

If you require any further assistance on this subject please ask for
clarification and I will do my best to respond swiftly.

Here is a map showing the location of Heaven's Door in neighbouring Somerset:

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=360500&y=121500&z=3&sv=360500,121500&st=4&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf&dn=844

and of Heaven's Gate as mentioned by leli-ga and palitoy-ga:
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=382500&y=142500&z=3&sv=382500,142500&st=4&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf&dn=844

In case these links do not work, please go to

and enter "Heaven" as search term. This should lead you to the maps in question.
