I was once a contestant on this show (circa 1955.) How or where could
I go to find the particular show I was on but especially, if possible,
to purchase a copy of the program?

IMDB lists the original producers and distributors.  You could try
contacting either of them to see who still owns the rights, or what
companies may have licensed the rights for distribution:

Several cities have museums of television (or the moving image,
broadcasting, etc.)  You could try contacting them -- especially in
the area where the show was filmed or broadcast -- in order to
determine whether they have a copy for viewing, and whether purchase
or duplication is possible.
