MY fathers name was "gerald Di Salvo" He owned a lot of restaurant in
Vancouver his partner was "joe gentile" this was the years 1963 to
1990 and the were aways in the news or paper "vancouver sun"or
province they were sicilians hi profile guys i would like to read
about the "DiSalvo" had a big court case on gambling help me know more
about my dad thanks.

please help me find some news clip on my dad "Gerry Di Salvo" ,from
Vancouver,Bc he had lots  of resturants italian ones downtown 1 on
hornby st, "casa d italia " check spelling   in the 70s  and  80s
"italian village pizza' on robsin st. 60s,and 70s and "italian coffe
bar" in litle italy commercial Drive some time his name was speld
:jerry or gerry or Gerald"he was agreat "cook" one time had a big
court case for gambling need to find some news clips on him he was my
father and gone now thanks .

Found a mention of Joe Gentile 'retiring' in the late 80s at

I can't find anything on Di Salvo specifically, but if you'd like to
read or get copies of the articles mentioning him in the Vancouver Sun
their research department could probably help you. Their contact
