I'm looking for this popular song from the 80's. I think it's called Keriou Keira or something like that. The chorus is something like this "Keriou Keira on the road that I must travel....Keriou Keira on a highway in the night..." I know this sounds completely random and dumb, but do you have any idea what I'm talking about? |

I am certain that the song you're looking for is "Kyrie," which was a big hit for a group called "Mr. Mister" in the 1980s. The phrase "kyrie eleison" (pronounced like KEER-ee-ay el-AY-son) is repeated several times in the chorus: Kyrie eleison, down the road that I must travel Kyrie eleison, through the darkness of the night Kyrie eleison, where I'm going will you follow Kyrie eleison, on a highway in the light... Zel's Park Bench: Kyrie http://www.angelfire.com/me2/zelsparkbench/song319.html "Kyrie eleison" is a phrase that is well known to most Catholics. It is Greek for "Lord, have mercy (upon us)." You'll find the song on the CD "The Best of Mr. Mister". You can listen to a clip of "Kyrie" here, to verify that it's the right song: Amazon: The Best of Mr. Mister http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005B1GA I hope this helps! If I have misidentified your song, please request clarification; I'll be glad to offer further assistance before you rate my answer. Best regards, pinkfreud |
