More details such as your location may help and how much do you wish
to invest? Do you expect to stock mostly the items that were in a
typical general store of two centuries ago, or more like a Walmart
super store which attempts to stock everything a significant number of
persons might wish to purchase? Either way aquiring your inventory at

yes thank you, i would like to open a general store similar to the old
farmers almanac general store like the one in mohegan sun, with some
of my own touches as well. such as baking foods,antiques, and outdoor
gear and clothes. I'm located in glen head new york, and would like to
purchase the land and building to do this. thank you once again, i

that info i know already. im looking for sites on getting stated on
general store startups. are there francises, wholesale companies that
specialize in general stores? there are hundreds of general stores,
how did they get started?

i hope i haven't been charged anything, i never got an answer i was
