Hi Bobbie7! I'm hoping again for one of your excellent and thourough answers...

I'm looking to sell my products to (or through) the big guys: amazon,
babystyle, babiesrus, target, walmart, etc.

I have a very small LLC business and need to know how about getting
the big companies aware of/interested in my product.

Amazon contacted a woman on a business list that we are both on about
selling her hand-made products through their site, but I don't know
her enough to expect her to share the details.

I'm looking for:

1) General information on how to go about getting the big companies to
sell products from my small business. I.E. What kind of cut do they
expect/require? Do they require my company to have insurance? That
sort of thing.

2) The contact information for the specific people that handle this
sort of thing at each company (hopefully email) and how best to get
their attention.

3) Forms/templates on cold-selling products from a small business to a
large corporation. I'm looking for *good* and *specific*
forms/templates, not just a business form/template site that I have to
search through (I tried that and couldn't seem to find anything).

Please let me know if you need any more information from me!

Dear Jude1!

Thank you very much for directing your question to me, however this
subject is out of my area of expertise.

I found some supplier information for Wal-Mart and Kmart
stores that might be helpful.

Wal-Mart

This page tells you how to do business with Wal-Mart. Includes info on
how to become a supplier, supplier standards, supplier proposal
packet, and more.

Your best bet would be to close this question and repost the question
so that my colleagues can have a crack at it. I?m sure that a
researcher who dominates the market will answer it very well.

Again, thank you for your consideration!

Sincerely,
Bobbie7

Another suggestion would be to just change the title of this question
so that you won't have to pay the listing fee again. :)
