In radiation therapy, what exactly is a BOHAP (or Bohap)? How did it get that name?

I'm not aware of BOHAP as an acronym.

Is there any chance that this could be VOHAP (volatile organic
hazardous air pollutant)?

No, it's not VOHAP.

BOHAP is a type of device used in radiation therapy to help immobilize
the patient. I've seen it written in all caps, but I'm not sure it's
an acronym. I'm not sure if it's "BOHAP" or "Bohap" but I've seen it
written with all caps before, even though that might not be proper.
"Bohap" could be the name of the product and isn't necessarily an
acronym.

I hope this helps.

It sounds as if this may be a manufacturer's trade name, but so far I
haven't had any luck tracking it down. Can you describe the device? Is
it a stereotactic frame of some sort?

It's not a stereotactic frame, but a device used in more conventional
types of radiotherapy. I wish that I could provide more information,
but that is all I know -- and my question was just that "what exactly
is a Bohap?" :)
