How to plan a Costa Rica honeymoon trip: I would like to plan a honeymoon trip in mid April 2005 (2 months from now), and am considering Costa Rica as a possible destination. I am not good at researching or planning trips, so I would like to know: - is this a good time of year to go to Costa Rica? - are there routes/trips that enable a wide range of activities to satisfy our different interests -- e.g., seeing natural landscape/mountains, relaxing on beach, doing some action/adventure activities, shooting photo-journalistic photography (my fiance is a photographer), shopping/dining/partying in hip towns, etc.? - What are the best travel planning agencies/sources for booking our trip if we want a well supported but authentic experience -- i.e., not totally on our own with no map or power, but not totally "tourist trap trip with canned agenda and annoying guide with umbrella/megaphone barking orders" either? Also would be helpful to know what the "market rate" is for a two person/10 day trip to Costa Rica in April including air (from Philadelphia) and lodging. Thanks! |

I have been searching the internet quite a bit for a trip to Costa Rica later in the year. I have found a very interesting tour outfit. They will customize any trip you want and can have a personal tour guide. I haven't talked with them yet, but they have a great website with tons of information. They are not real cheap, but they sound like they can provide whatever you need to get the most out of a trip to CR. http://serendipityadventures.com |
