What are the specific laws prohibiting "downloadable Music". Specifically -- is it illegal for me to create a browser bases jukebox for my family that holds our CD collection? I'd like to be able to access and listen to our CD collection from any computer with an internet connection and browser? This of course would make the music available to anyone that happened to surf-in. Is it illegal to make music I purchased available to listen too over the internet but not available to copy? |

You legally cannot share the music with anyone who happens to stumble in. You have to take preventive measures against this. That is like saying yes I have such and such movie in my shared folder of kazza it is not my fault that they decided to download it. |
