I bought the CD ?Brazilian Lullaby? from Ellipsisarts (www.ellipsisarts.com) which features a variety of artists and now want to find other music and lullabies on CD from these artists. The Brazilian Lullaby CD gives some additional information about CDs by these artists, but I need to know where to actually purchase them (note: some of the artists apparently only did one song for this CD, so I won?t give a complete track listing because these are probably dead-ends). It mentions that many of the songs (?Soneca? by Monica Salmaso; ?Pro Nene Nanar? by Geraldo Leite; ?Dorme? by Arnaldo Antunes, ?Sono de Gibi? by Helio Ziskind, ?Carneirinho 1,2,3? by Sandra Peres) come from a CD on the label Palavra Cantada called ?Cancoes de Ninar.? The booklet for the CD also mentions that this label has ?for five consecutive years won the Best Children?s CD Sharp Award.? What are the other CDs that won this award, and where can I buy them all? Other CDs mentioned in the Brazilian Lullaby booklet include: (1) ?Dois a Dois? by Grupo Roda Piao (with the song ?Bambalalao?), (2) ?Mawaca by Magda Pucci? by Mawaca (with the song ?Tutu Evora?), (3) ?Arrepio? by Vange Milliet/Paulo Lepetit (with the song ?Nana Pra Brincar?), and (4) Estrelinhas and ?two eagerly awaited CDs for children? by Marcio Lott (with the song ?Curio?). I?m looking for information about where to buy these CDs. I need to be able to make purchases from the U.S. or New Zealand, and would prefer to buy them from U.S. or New Zealand sources if possible (versus from sources in Brazil ? but that is fine if the only way). Information about other Brazillian lullabies (by different artists) would also be welcome, but not essential. |
