contradiction between pharaonic leisure and leisure enjoyed by the masses in Egypt

Obviously they preferred more massonic leisure.

The pharoahs and privileged classes of Egypt did nothing and the
slaves did everything. Moses [of the Bible]was raised by one of
Pharoah's daughters in luxury, although being born a Jew, could have
continued in luxury. Because of his good heart condition [ compassion]
he vehemently opposed the treatment of the slaves and chose to join
them, resulting in the exodus from Egypt by the Jews. Of course at
God's direction [ Exodus 2]
Last time I looked, there were no pharoahs but us slaves are still here.
But not for too much longer [ Psalm 37;9]
