The pharoahs and privileged classes of Egypt did nothing and the slaves did everything. Moses [of the Bible]was raised by one of Pharoah's daughters in luxury, although being born a Jew, could have continued in luxury. Because of his good heart condition [ compassion] he vehemently opposed the treatment of the slaves and chose to join them, resulting in the exodus from Egypt by the Jews. Of course at God's direction [ Exodus 2] Last time I looked, there were no pharoahs but us slaves are still here. But not for too much longer [ Psalm 37;9] |
