Why has the 2005 USAFR colonel promotion announcement been delayed?

The AFRS PC has told me that the earliest the list will be available
is the first week of February.  The release date for this list has
been NLT 6 JAN for the past two years.  The active duty list has
already been announced.  Obviously there is a delay in the
announcement of the AFRS colonel promotion list.  I am curious as to
the reason for the delay.

Just call the AFRES personnel center officer promotion section and ask
them.   If you are assigned to a AF unit ask the MPF - thay can find
out.
