How to burn cds when the burner is in another network computer?

I have a laptop without a cd burner. This is where I have stored all
of my imported and downloaded (from iTunes) music.

I am able to connect my iPod to sync the music on my computer to the
music in the iPod.

But, I want to burn some of the new music that I have purchased and
downloaded from iTunes. The cd burner is on another network computer.
I am able to stream to the other computer to play music, but I NEED to
be able to burn my music. (both the imported music and the
iTunes-downloaded muic).

What is the best and most simple way to do this without losing sound quality?

It appears all I need to do is transfer the songs across the network
to the other computer. Create a playlist with the songs. Double click
on one of the songs in the iTunes library. Enter my iTunes Music Store
ID and password to authorize a second computer. Then, burn the
playlist.

Problem is now that the Music Store will not authorize the second
computer because there is a network connection problem. It doesn't
appear to be a firewall problem. I am able to connect to the store
itself in iTunes and I am able to connect to the Internet. Perhaps the
Music Store isn't working currently for authorizing computers. Maybe
tomorrow?

It now appears that the problem is either something wrong with a
firewall (which has been disabled) or perhaps another program that is
bothering the process. The computer can not buy music and it can not
authorize itself. There continues to be a network connection problem.
It doesn't interfere with general iTunes internet usage. Simply when
buying and authorizing.

Now the problem is largely unrelated to iTunes. This computer can not
connect to any files or webpages that go through https (secure).
Unless iTunes messed up some security settings on the computer, it
appears that the problem is more related to Windows XP. This was due
to Norton Internet Security. I removed it and was able to authorize
the computer through iTunes. I am now able to burn the music on the
network computer.
