We've all read those Travel Brochures and the horror stories where the
holiday of a lifetime turns out to be an unmitigated disaster.

So will Heaven also turn out to be similarly disappointing?

I have always imagined Heaven to be a non-stop delight where I will be
able to meet up with old friends BUT ...

There are probably a lot of old curmudgeons up there too.

I expect Will Shakespeare will be there busy churning out more of his
old rubbish and trying to blame it on Francis Bacon, as before. With
Anne Hathaway always nagging away, as was her wont.

And all those politicians saying one thing and doing the exact opposite.

And think of the language problem! The place is likely to be a babble
of foreign voices and you know how loud and excitable some of those
folk can be. Or will English be mandatory, as it ought to be if the
place is to be really idyllic?

The only thing that worries me is that THE OTHER PLACE will be worse.
Much worse as it will be filled all those folk who have applied to
become a Researcher in some prestigious organisation, only to get the
response, 'Sorry no vacancies, at present'.

Please put my mind at rest before my body is put to rest.

In the absence of any satisfactory assurances, I have decided to
struggle on here on Earth for A LOT more years.

Once they get it right, I am prepared to do a re-think.

I don't think politicians do go to heaven, do they? I mean, just look
at Jeffrey Archer.

Unsure of Rio.

I think I might have been a bit too quick in my judgement of Mr.Archer.
He clearly knows a thing or two.

After a few centuries of basking in the glory of GOD, it gets REALLY
boring. You'll pray to be transferred to hell.

I figure I'll be past caring; I'll be dead after all. Anything is
better than lying around in a rotting coffin or urn. It's got to be an
improvement on that.

Thankfully we shall *all* be spared this possible anti-climax.
