Why do some men have a fetish with pantyhose. Either looking at a
woman in them, feeling them, or wearing them theirselves. Yes i know
this is a off the wall question but is rather legit one.

Basically the male is a rather primitive beast. The ?chase? excites.
?Brown paper packages wrapped up with string,? -- anticipation. Nearly
as primitive as the female, who is unerringly attracted to cavemen.

I was "attracted" to the question until I read your last reference to
men actually wearing the gear. That put me off and distorted my
thoughts beyond comprehension. Now that Guzzi-ga has taken us back to
the basics, I can go back 2 steps: "Looking at a woman in them".

I suppose the lines of hosiery create a definition to her embodiment.
Her shape is delineated and causes one's focus. The taught lines
caressing her swaying and shapely walk as she ascends the stairs is a
sight to behold. Particularly when viewed from 2 steps below, as one
follows the lead.

Hosiery too I suppose is a symbolic containment of the sanctity
within. Akin to ripe fruit about to burst, hosiery affords a package
of witheld unison to savour the moments.

To further your question, consider colour. Black, white, burgundy,
turquoise, lemon, emerald and mauve. All colours are exquisite when
appropriated to the lady. Interestingly, the colours fall within the
colour wheel of contrast. A deeply tanned lady will appear more
enticing in white than black. A porcelain doll complexion is very
attractive in black. And so the inbetweens.

It's the contrast which creates the focus of definition in colour,
movement and savoured wanting.

Some men have a fetish about pantyhose for the same reason men develop
a fetish about anything ? they were sexually aroused in the presence
of that thing at an impressionable age.  This was reinforced over time
by further exposure to people in pantyhose, thinking about it in
conjunction with pleasurable sexual thoughts, etc.  The pantyhose
didn?t cause the arousal the first time, but they became associated in
his mind, like Pavlov?s dogs and the bell ringing.  Remember, Pavlov
rang the bell every time he fed the dogs.  The dogs learned to
salivate at the sound of the bell, even when no food was present.  So,
too, this man has learned to be excited by pantyhose, even if the
original source of his arousal is not present.

If the man in question were to think seriously about it over a period
of time, he might remember a long-ago incident where he saw a family
member, babysitter, neighbor or friend wearing, removing or putting on
pantyhose in a sexual situation, and be able to pinpoint that as the
beginning of his fetish, or he might not.  This is pretty harmless as
far as fetishes go.  It?s really only a problem if it bothers the man
or his partner, or if he?s unable to enjoy sex without pantyhose.
