I am trying to find the artist or group and title of song of these
lyrics "Let the laughter fill your glass, let your illusions last
until they shatter what ever you might hope to find among the thoughts
that travel your mind, there won’t be many that ever really matter.

The artist you are referring to is Jackson Browne a singer, songwriter
and musician. The lyrics are from the song "THE ONLY CHILD" from his
album "The Pretender" of 1976. The complete lyrics for this song and
