I've heard of places that have steak eating contests.  They serve you
a 72 ounce steak and if you eat the steak in one setting you get it
for free.  I have a friend that would like to participate in a contest
like this.  I live in the Sacramento, CA area and would like to know
if any restaurants in the area have this kind of offer.

Sorry, I've tried many searches with Sacramento and have found nothing
closer than Sparks.

The only one I found is the Big Texan in Amarillo, Texas  which offers
customers a FREE 72-ounce sirloin with salad, potato, shrimp cocktail,
but: You have to eat all of it in one hour or less.

a tex-mex chain in Canada.  Your answer may not be found 'publicly'
but by looking at the leading tex-mex outfit in your area.
