Hi,

How many times have you wanted to get someone a gift and weren't
really sure about their taste or preference and didn't want to allow
them to find out what it is you're considering nor do you have the
ability to look at what they wear and use now to narrow things down?

Is there a very reasonable survey like, simple to use, web site out
there which would allow you to have your friend asked a few questions
and the results be made available to you in order to allow you to get
it right without the need for them to return it, which is not always
possible if we're dealing with a gift that has to be sent overseas.

A web site or a survey would be ideal the easier to use the better! :-)

Thank you for accepting my remarks as your answer. I've reposted the
material below, with an additional thought.

=============================================================================

I haven't seen such a site, but it's a clever idea. However, wouldn't
the very act of filling out the survey provide clues that would "blow
your cover" to some extent? If a friend asked me to take a survey that
asked questions related to my tastes or preferences, I think I would
suspect that my friend might be planning to use the results in
choosing a gift for me. Of course, that would not diminish my pleasure
in the gift, once I received it.

=============================================================================

Here's a hint for anyone who wants to buy a gift to please a woman in
whom you have a romantic interest. If you really want to buy something
like perfume or clothing, but you don't know exactly what she likes,
buy her something that you would find pleasing on her. If she really
likes you, she will be eager to wear something special that you choose
for her, even if it isn't the sort of thing she might have chosen for
herself.

Many years ago, when I was single, a young man gave me a bottle of
White Shoulders perfume. I had never worn White Shoulders, but when he
told me that the scent reminded him of my grace and beauty, well, it's
hard to shrug off a remark like that. The fragrance took on a whole
new meaning, and now, nearly 40 years later, I still wear White
Shoulders on occasion.

=============================================================================

Often you may receive advice that recommends choosing a gift that
every woman would be likely to enjoy. Frankly, I think that sort of
advice is too "safe." Romance is not about safety; it is about taking
risks, dreaming impossible dreams, and seeking the soul's desire. If a
woman receives a "generic" sort of gift, she will smile and shrug. If
she receives an unusual item that was obviously selected with some
care, she will smile and hug. The difference between the shrug and the
hug is vast and meaningful. The hug-inspiring gifts that I have
received have not always been the sorts of things that I might have
chosen for myself, but they were gifts from the heart, not just from
the wallet.

Very best wishes,
pinkfreud

But is your grace and beauty still holding up Miss Pink?

My grace and beauty are a bit ragged, thanks to the ravages of time,
but I hope they may still be discerned on occasion. It helps if the
lights are dim, and if the viewer is at a distance. ;-)

Hi Pinkfreud,

Darn good advice, an insight on women that I had no exposure to.

Would you please paste it as a reply, I'd be more than honored to give
it a five star mark.

Thank you again for the advice out of your own person life, that means a lot to me.

Stupid man, of course it is Phil, I?ve seen Pink?s picture in her
blogette and I can vouch for it (unless it was taken on the first
occasion she wore White Shoulders of course). ;)

This could be off topic, but there are few prank related sites which
sends email out to your friends (like surveys) and then collect
information and sends the results back to you (instead to them) and
ofcourse maintaining you anonymous.

http://www.crush007.com/ (this one gets you your friend's crush list!!)
