To find businesses registered to do business in Oklahoma, you can
visit the website www.sos.state.ok.us and do a search through the
Business Name/Entity database. However, regarding contractors or
other businesses, perhaps if you would make your question more
specific (what type of business or contractor are you interested in
using the services of, or are you trying to check out on the
reputation of a particular contractor you are considering using,
etc.?) perhaps another database source could be found.

SINCERELY,

Although not a full listing, members of the Better Business Bureau of
Central Oklahoma may be found at:
http://www.oklahomacity.bbb.org/commonroster.html
which lists fully licensed businesses that operate under BBB
guidelines.
Also, the Tulsa BBB, serving Eastern Oklahoma, may be found at:
http://www.tulsabbb.org/commonroster.html
These are pretty extensive lists.
As far as I know, it is usually blocked off in this manner and finding
a complete listing on the internet may prove difficult. I agree with
the previous poster who suggested limiting the search to a particular
category. There are yahoo listings, then, which give extensive
listings of category-specific licensed businesses in OK.
The Oklahoma business Licensing Directory might be helpful. It gives
a listing of which businesses require licensing and which ones do not
to legally operate in Oklahoma. For example, some towing companies do
not have to attain special licensing to operate legally in Oklahoma.
This may be found at:
http://domino1.odoc.state.ok.us/
Also, the official OK website may be slightly less helpful, but might
be a nice starting point:
http://www.youroklahoma.com/?c=3
If you are looking for major Oklahoma companies that employ 500 or
more:
http://domino1.odoc.state.ok.us/newhome/relocate.nsf/pages/MajorOklahomaCompanies
would be a good place to start.
As far as finding a complete internet listing, this may prove
difficult and I wish you the greatest success in doing so. I would
also like to suggest the you call the OK Chamber of Commerce, or
contact a BBB in Oklahoma, and they might be willing to mail you a
copy of their listings. Good luck and sorry I could not be more
helpful.

Good luck,
dexterpexter
