I lost a lawsuit and posted a bound while appealing....the appeal is
complete and now the dollar amount was adjusted and the money that i
put up in the bond is more than the judgement amount. However, the
party who sued me, is entitled to 10% interest and he is not
collecting the judgement amount from the bond....Who seeks to enforce
the judgement from the bond for payment so the interest will stop?
this guy is making 10% on his money from me!

Why not send his lawyer a cheque by certified mail? Just a thought...

I would file a motion in the original case asking that the case be
costed and your bond returned minus the judgment. You could just have
a chat with the Clerk of Courts to do this, but it is likely the Clerk
would want a court order to release the bond. I would not just send
the lawyer a check. I would contact the attorney and require that he
sign a satisfaction of judgment (an agreement by the parties that the
judgment has been paid) or pay the judgment directly to the Clerk so
that the docket shows the satisfaction of judgment.
