Hello jweber,
As you may know, you can only see the first 1,000 results on search
engines such as Google or Yahoo! So there is a practical limit to how
many URLs or sites one can find with one search.
In any event, Google maxes out at 805 results when omitting similar
results for the following search:
Web search results for [site:de filetype:nsf]
Google
://www.google.com/search?q=site:de+filetype:nsf&num=100&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&output=search
Unfortunately, I don't think that one can turn off the output of two
URLs per site on Google itself. (Most of the results are one URL per
site, so you could just skip over the relatively few additional URLs.)
However, you can get a similar set of Google results organized by one
URL per site via Hotbot. It goes up to 998 results (in groups of 20).
Web Results by Google for [site:de filetype:nsf]
Hotbot
http://www.hotbot.com/default.asp?query=site%3Ade+filetype%3Ansf&ps=&loc=searchbox&tab=web&provKey=Inktomi&prov=Google
You can see that these two sets of results are all on target -- from
.de domains, with .nsf file types. The search that you tried, though
sensible, includes results that are not from .de domains, or that lack
.nsf file types. The search suggested by clearminded-ga, while also
logical, contains results solely from .de domains, but not always .nsf
file types.
