I can?t find any quotes attributed to Jeffrey Chan, or any mention of
him in any news stories.
I did find one quote attributed to Joseph Chan, also of Oriental
Patron. (I don't know if the two men are related.)
In an article titled ?Clean Listings Urged,? written by Lee Yuk-kei,
published in the Sept. 20, 2004 edition of ?The Standard? (a
business newspaper in China), there is a quote from Joseph Chan of
Oriental Patron:
?Joseph Chan, director of Hong Kong- based investment bank, Patron Oriental,
said it had outsourced part of its due diligence tasks to other
consultancy firms before taking on IPO candidates. ?Outsourcing due
diligence [tasks] saves our time and cost as the integrity and
transparency of the listing candidates [are evaluated in a thorough
manner helping us to] decide whether to take the deal or not,? Chan
