About 30 years ago, the Flood Mansion sold some of its furniture in an
auction, or a series of auctions, including some historical pieces. I
am looking for the listing of what was offered for auction.
Purportedly it was listed in the Oakland Tribune, Oakland, CA, but the
Tribune records are not easily searchable back that far. I can be
reached at artana@concentric.net and happy to hear from you. M |

I was told that the auction was in the 60s or the 70s. I know a
person who bought something in this auction, and I met this person in
1983, and he told me it was about 10-15 yrs earlier he thought
(although his memory was not that good at the time).
But if there is a list from the 30s, it would be easy for me to tell
you if that is the one, I am looking for a specific piece of furniture
that was from the Flood Mansion (it is an old sofa, around 200 yrs
old, I think of French origin, MIKE
