I'm watching Pompeii: The Last Day on Discovery Channel. Since it was originally on BBC, why are the narration and interviews in an American accent? |

Apparently, "Pompeii: The Last Day" is a co-production "of the BBC, Discovery Channel and NDR, in association with France 2": http://portal.unesco.org/en/ev.php-URL_ID=18407&URL_DO=DO_PRINTPAGE&URL_SECTION=201.html The BBC webpage: http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/programmes/pompeii/ |
