I HAVE END STAGE PARKINSON'S DISEASE. I UNDERWENT A VERY SUCCESSFUL BRIAN OPERATION AND THANK GOD I CAN WALK AGAIN. THE DOWNSIDE IS I AM ADDICTED TO VICODIN. I AM TAPERING OFF UNDER A DOCTOR'S SUPERVISION AND AM DOWN TO I/2 PILL EVERY 11 HOURS. DOES IT NOW GO FASTER AND GET EASIER? I AM TIRED OF IT. |

I had a similar situation. At the point that you are, I just stopped. I had sweats, stomach cramps, etc for about 30 hours. I felt bad for maybe 30 hours more. That was in December, 1999 and I haven't had an urge or problem since, nor have I needed any medication at all. Not even aspirin. My injury was a broken neck and the 24 hour pain lasted 13 years and 1 month. Best of luck to you. |
