I am looking for Syracuse dinnerware, the "Pilgrim" pattern. I am
looking for cereal bowls, but am interested in all the pieces
available. I originally bought the dinnerware from "kitchensetc.com"
website in 2004, but this website is no longer in service. This
dinnerware was also available from Lands End for a short time. The
dinnerware is very sturdy, not delicate china. It is a plain creamy
white color with no pattern on it. I've seen it described as "hotel
dinnerware" because it is so durable.

Hello ginny55902-ga,

Syracuse China is a division of Libbey. They sell to the restaurant
trade as well as retail. I suggest that you explore the web site to
see if you can find the Pilgrim china you're looking for.
Unfortunately, this site uses frames so I can't point you to the exact
links that I think might be applicable.

Please check whether the white china on this page is what you're looking for.

Gourmet Basics restaurant dinnerware offers high quality materials,
design, and construction in every piece. The superior surface offers a
hard finish for added durability. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

I look forward to your clarification.

Further searching shows that for Syracuse dinnerware "pilgrim" is not
a pattern but a shape.

Can you furnish any additional information about the china you're
looking for? Thanks.

The Syracuse dinnerware line has many patterns-"Pilgrim" is the name
of the pattern of the dishes I have. When you click on Syracuse
dinnerware-it gives you a choice of patterns, and one of them is
Pilgrim. I wasn't aware it is also a shape of dish. What I really want
to find are what were described on "kitchensetc." website as cereal
bowls. They may have a different official name, but they do look like
a cereal bowl. They measure about 5-7/8 inch across and they are the
creamy white color. There were several other bowls you could order in
different sizes in the "Pilgrim" Syracuse line on the "kitchensetc."
website. However, I need the cereal bowl size. Thanks!

Hello again ginny55902-ga,

It seems that the Pilgrim pattern in Syracuse China that you're
looking for is not available either to the restaurant trade or the
consumer in the online catalog. You may want to contact them to find
out whether this line is discontinued and where you might buy it. Good
luck.
