I'm trying to find a particulary type of woman's sweater. About 15
years ago, my wife purchased something called the "Big Sweater," a
thick, heavy sweater available in a variety of colors, mostly mottled
blues and greens. The sweater was of high quality and very long. A
sweater purchased to the correct size would have draped close to the
middle of the thighs in the front and back, and had a four-inch slit
at the sides for ease of movement. The sweater weighs more than a
pound today and was probably heavier a few hundred washes ago.

The ones my wife currently wears are getting a bit threadbare, and I'd
like to find either a new version of the same sweater, or something
similar.

I need a sweater that is thick, heavy, extra-long, preferably
available in a variety of colors other than pinks and pastels. I'd
prefer a turtleneck or mock-turtleneck version.

I'm looking for companies that sell these products for
reasonable prices. The more reasonable the prices, the bigger the tip.
