I am looking for the value, identification & artist name of a copper
sculpture. It is approx. 21" high, 30" long, 6.5" wide. There are 9
copper water lilies suspended on slender copper rods and 23 small lily
pads. The sculpture is mounted on a black board approx. 3/4" thick.
There is an approx. 3/4" long oval plaque with the artist's name.
Hard to make out what it is. I come up with C. Jereid, or Jereic,
Jere'd,Jere'c etc. The only thing for sure is C. _ere_. To the left
of the name is a circle with a small c or < inside. This was obtained
from a home in Conn. where the owners traveled extensively. I
estimate it to be from approx 1950's, 60's but it could be older.
Your information will be greatly appreciated.
