I'm looking for recommendations for upscale but child-friendly hotels
in New York City. Specific features I'm interested in: 1)
child-friendly swimming pool (not a lap pool), with bonus points for
being heated above 80 degrees. 2) Hotel concierge who can arrange for
in-room babysitting. 3) Located near Columbus Circle, or with easy
subway access. 4) Need to have 2 connecting rooms; bonus points for
suites (e.g., separate sleeping space for the kids).

Something like the Delano hotel in Miami would be ideal. I've already
looked at the Mandarin Oriental, Trump International, and Royalton,
but those didn't have the child-friendly pool.

Check out Le Parker Meridien in Midtown -- Cartoons playing in the
elevators, a great swimming pool, a very kid-friendly burger joint in
the lobby, and spacious rooms and suites.

Yet this place is definitely classy and high-end. Check it out on Hotels.com.
