I have a mould used for casting something or other. It is made of brass and is 6" square and 1 and half inches thick.I have poured plaster into it and a mould of something like a small mountain range is formed. This is like a jelly or jelloe mould only in brass. The clue is that it is made from brass that has a low melting point I,m told so it,s not used for casting metal.can anyone please enlighten me.It is very heavy too. |

Could it possibly be a plinth or paper weight and not actually a mould -- the ?mould? part simply being casting depression on a (previously) much larger lump of brass? Best |
