If you answer this--there is a $10.00 TIP! YES--that's right!

2-3 years ago I was at a GAP store in Orland Park, Illinois. They
were playing this fantastic song that was a playful, but dance song by
a lady. I need to know the name of the artist, song and where I can
find it.

The lyrics went something like"...like a shooting star, I fell for
you..." or maybe it was "I fell in love." I just can't remember!!
But it definately had "Shooting star" in there somewhere. It was part
of the chorus.

I tried getting in touch with GAP but (as helpful as they were), they
couldn't help me. THey get new music for the stores every 4-6 weeks
aparently. If it helps, the song played right after a song from The
Beach Boys. So, it must have been in the summer that I heard it.

Thanks pinkfreud for trying. I know I know--there are literlaly
millions of songs with those lyrics. I was hoping someone from GAP
would have a clue. No hard feelings though. Who knows, perhaps you or
someone will stumble upon it.

Cheers!

Thanks for mentioning me. I did give this a try, but there are many
songs that include references to shooting stars. Without more clues,
it's going to be tough to guess which one you may have heard. If you
remember any additional details, they would be most welcome.

Hi, I'm not a researcher, but I do know of a song that has the line
"Like a falling star, I fell for you..."

It's a happy, bouncy, song called "You" by the group "S Club 7".

Here's a sample:

The album can be bought off of Amazon.

If this isn't it, I do vaguely remember a song that has a similar line
about "shooting stars", I think it might be by a Japanese group.
A google search with the strings "japanese" or "jpop" might be helpful....
