Back in the 1980s a civilian jetliner operated by Arrow Air, possibly
a DC-8, crashed near Gander Newfoundland. It was carrying primarily
US military and some US intelligence personnel returning from the
Lebanon. If I remember, there was no survivors.

In the DVD Celsius 41.11 the producers listed Islamist terrorist incidents and
included this Arrow Air crash with the Kenya embassy bombings, WTC
1993 and 2001, and the Bali discos, all clearly QTN attacks.

Now I know Hezbollah is based in Lebanon. It is Islamist, but is a
Shiite entity and is not a Wahibi/Sunni inspired extremist force as is
QTN.

What caused the crash of the Arrow Air?
Was it mechanical failure or man-made?
If man-made, was it Hezbollah?

Pink, in skimming through the contemporary CASB reports it seems the
majority favoured icing and the minority something sinister and beyond
the highly skilled and professional crew's power.

I remember at the time that it was a controversial crash.

Unless the DVD producers uncovered some recent evidence this may be
where the story dangles today.
