I am planning to establish a commercial venture, specifically that of an indoor kids play center, in Maryland (in or near Howard County/Baltimore County/Baltimore/Anne Arundel County/Montgomery County) which will have a capacity for up to 300 children (ages 2-12) at a one time playing and perhaps up to 700 people total (parents etc) in the facility at peak times. The facility will have equipment similar to that shown in the following link: http://www.playtec.co.uk/frames_indoor.shtml To get moving quickly I need help getting to specific information and have a number of questions - this email will deal with one of those: What type of insurance is needed for such an operation and what companies offer it? |

the easiest way to find out is to talk to an insurance agent. even insurance agencies that dont cover what you need can tell you who in town does. this is how I found out I needed commercial general liability for the venture I was starting. You will probably need workmans comp. |
